3. Purposes and legal bases
We process your data to: handle your booking and contact you before the rental (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — steps prior to entering into a contract); conclude and perform the rental agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); meet our tax and accounting obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR); verify the renter's identity, protect the rented property and establish, pursue or defend legal claims (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest).
4. Is providing data required?
Providing your data is voluntary, but it is necessary to make a booking and sign the rental agreement. Without it we cannot hand over the bike.
5. Recipients
Your data may only be shared with parties that support us technically: Google (Forms, Sheets, Drive, Gmail — storing agreements and sending email confirmations), Netlify (website hosting and the booking form), Resend (sending the booking confirmation email) and — where needed — our accountant, insurer, legal advisers or public authorities entitled to it by law. We never sell your data.
6. Transfers outside the EEA

7. Retention period
Booking form data is kept until the booking is fulfilled, or no longer than 30 days if no rental takes place. Rental agreement data is kept for the duration of the agreement, then until claims become time-barred (generally 3 years), and for as long as tax law requires (5 years from the end of the calendar year in which the tax obligation arose).
8. Your rights
You have the right to: access your data and receive a copy, rectify it, have it erased, restrict its processing, data portability, and object to processing based on our legitimate interest. To exercise these rights, email surronzywiec@gmail.com.
